After booking a guided tasting visit at a well-known winery in Valdobbiadene, having arrived late, we found the gate closed and, disappointed, we decided to go eat something at an agriturismo in the area. Fortunately, we came across Emanuele Follador, known as Meme, a person with great knowledge of enology and also very nice. Even without a reservation, he entertained us with a tasting and explanation of his wines, in my opinion excellent. Additionally, he prepared a platter with cold cuts and cheeses for us. Well, he saved our day. I was with Mexican friends who had a great time. The only downside is that we had gone there to eat but did not realize it was a bed and breakfast.
