The structure is a bit dated inside. The bathrooms need to be renovated. We had booked with air conditioning, but upon arrival there was a replacement and we had two rooms, one of which did not have air conditioning. Unfortunately, it was too hot for the end of August. The owner is very kind and nice. Overall, for one night it was fine.

Comfortable and spacious rooms. The owners are very kind and helpful. The structure is easily accessible and in a very convenient location. Negative points are the breakfast and the bathroom service. During our stay, we practically prepared the breakfast ourselves with what was available in the kitchen, packaged croissants that were not restocked the following day; unfortunately, we did not find the lady in charge of breakfast in the dining room on either of the two mornings of our stay. The sink in the bathroom was not very clean; there was no welcome kit (meant as single-dose shampoo and shower gel) but only hand soap (perhaps I misunderstood). Overall, we rested very well and the stay was still pleasant.

Great location, just above the center of Gorizia in a semi-hilly position with tranquility and a view of the town, kind owner and available for information, excellent cleanliness and convenient parking in the courtyard. Highly recommended.

The owner was welcoming and assigned us a large, charming and clean apartment. He also provided us with the names of some restaurants where to have dinner. Central location right below the Castle of Gorizia. I recommend it.

Seren and quiet place, well-furnished room, well-equipped bathroom. Breakfast room a bit crowded: need to wait... very courteous the lady who takes care of the reception here but better to organize the space.

Very nice B&B in the city center, just below the Gorizia castle and less than 5 minutes from the main square. The rooms are very charming and clean, equipped with air conditioning. The breakfast is self-service with packaged products and fresh bread. Reserved internal parking.

Great location, huge room, but with a sloping roof at risk of head trauma. Bathroom outside the room and luckily not shared with anyone, probably because the other room on the floor was empty. In the room there were only two electrical outlets that had to be shared with a nightstand, television, phone chargers, essential mosquito repellent heater, and a single extension cord that only reached the first nightstand. Breakfast only with packaged food. The only cake we had was on the first day and nothing else was brought. On the other hand, the room and the bathroom were very clean and the linen impeccable. Very convenient also the possibility to park the car.

La camera di fronte la poteva anche utilizzare, non condividiamo mai il bagno con estranei Per quanto riguarda l’impianto elettrico, è a norma, e nessuno si è mai lamentato della mancanza di prese in 18 anni di attività. Breakfast is too basic with packaged pastries and toast, there is no suitable machine for cappuccino. Everything else is perfect and the hosts are very helpful.

The B&B Al Castello is located in a perfect position in the city of Gorizia, on the small road that leads to the wonderful castle and in the city center. The structure is clean, easy to reach, the owners are kind and helpful, and we felt at home. The only thing that could be paid attention to is the cleaning of the shower box and the taps on the ground floor (the bathroom of the room at the entrance). And the fan in the room should also work with the lights off. For the rest, everything is perfect. Thank you for the service offered, see you in a few years definitely.

Very beautiful and central location. Rooms are poorly soundproofed. Unfortunately, electronic payment option is missing. The air conditioner remote control was missing in the room.

This Bed & Breakfast definitely benefits from its central location, which raises the score. Otherwise, a somewhat "old-fashioned" place that not everyone likes. The negative points are: bathroom facilities on the floor and not in the room, not mentioned on the website, and the manager only reachable by phone, not always available when needed. I recommend it to those who want to spend relatively little and be in the center of Gorizia and are satisfied with a simple structure.

Great room. Excellent price, but proportional to the isolation of the structure. In the middle of August, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the garden. The room did not have air conditioning.
