C A S A B E L L A - LAGO MAGGIORE (Band and Brunch) is a B and B accommodation, situated near the shores of the Lake Maggiore, whose name is in line with that of the most authoritative magazine of architecture in the world, Casabella - Lago Maggiore, of which in the library of the house is saved nearly half a century of collection.

Casabella Bed and Breakfast is in a villa built in the '30s, with garden, situated in the greenest site of Lesa, between Arona and Stresa, only 150 meters close to three beautiful beaches of Lake Maggiore. In Casabella - Lago Maggiore we offer you spacious, bright and quiet rooms, all with private bath, and tastefully decorated, with fine, modern and attractive finishes. Recently renovated with contemporary interior design cutting, there is, in this B and B house, a living collection of design masters of the twentieth century. You will be immersed in an atmosphere of art and good music, you will discover also attentive to the pleasures of the throat. You can ask us to stay in the suite with two bathrooms and mini-pool close to the bed, and eat in your room your breakfast, if you enjoy it.

Beside Casabella-Lago Maggiore, Sporting Lesa offers a spatious gymnasium, turkish bath, tennis courts and, in summer, an olympic pool with 5 meters diving board.

Nearby services are also available to rent canoes, sailboats and motorboats.

In our garden you can relax in a hammock, or play ping-pong. We also offer bicycles for your pleasant tours.

Homely, welcoming and well positioned for an easy walk into Lesa. Varied types of restaurants in the village from a simple pizzeria to high-class Italian restaurant, all very good value for money so eating close to the B&B was never a problem.\n\nHost was extremely helpful with advice and brochures about places to see locally and further afield.\n\nBreakfast was superb with all types of eggs you could wish for superbly cooked plus excellent coffee!\nExceptional value for money compared to other B&Bs or hotels in the area.\n\nWould definitely recommend.

It met all our expectations. The only issue was the Wi-Fi connection in our cottage. Very nice landlords. Great furnishings in a small space. Everything you could need for self-sufficiency. Landlords available at all times. We did not have breakfast, so no rating on that. Only about 10 minutes to Stresa, where there are shops and restaurants. Attention! The restaurant in Lesa at the pavilion was a disaster! Thank you to the landlords for the lovely stay. Best regards, Edel and Thomas with dog Felix.

Objects should provide company and so in this Bed and Breakfast everything seems to be delightfully in the right place. The building, a historic villa from the '30s renovated with respect for the existing, hides inside an enviable collection of books and design objects that, together with the extreme kindness of the owners, made our stay unforgettable. Enrico's suggestions on places to visit are highly appreciated, the homemade breakfast was exquisite, a detail that stayed in our hearts. The internal staircase in steel and wood, among prints, greenery, and industry magazines. A dream! Francesca and Luca.

All very welcoming, a distinct breakfast and a tub right next to the bed. Too bad the water was not hot, but rather lukewarm. Otherwise everything's fine!

Enrico Mercatali, owner of the house and manager of the B & B, architect and publicist, has renovated and furnished the house. Here he lives with his family (wife and daughter). He dedicates himself personally to the reception of guests and the preparation of special breakfasts served in the morning in the breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the garden, or in the room (only low seasons).

CASABELLA -Lake Maggiore is located in the greenest area of Lesa, between Arona and Stresa, 150 meters away from three beaches on the lake. Arona and Stresa are within a 6-8 minute drive away, and the beaches in 3-6 minutes on foot.
Here, in Casabella, you will live in the middle of natural, cultural and artistic primary worldwide.
Very close to us (destinations reachable within 15-30 minutes by car) : Mottarone mountain 1. 500 high meters (for tracking in summer and skiing in winter), the Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Mother and Perscatori and the beautiful Italian style gardens), the Stresa Festival (excellent summer concert series), the Orta lake with Orta and the Island of St. Julius (cultural or gastronomic pleasant summers), the Rocca Borromeo of Angera and Villa Taranto (with its gardens among the most beautiful in the world), the monastery of St. Caterina del Sasso.
Destinations reached in 40-60 minutes by car: Wilderness Valley Veglia and Dever, Vigezzo Valley (Santa Maria Maggiore, also reachable by little mountain train), Cannero, Cannobio, Ascona CH, Locarno CH (on the Lake Maggiore).
