Antares is a comfortable accommodation situated in the picturesque setting new constitution of the Archaeological Park of Syracuse, one of the most enchanting places in the Mediterranean, where history and culture come together to give you the natural beauty of timeless emotions.

The B&B is located in a strategic position, giving you the chance to reach without the need for transportation, all major attractions of the city, the historic center of Ortigia, the Greek Theatre and the Ear of Dionysius, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears to the Basilica of Saint Lucia and the Archaeological Museum.

It is also well connected with the airport of Fontanarossa and is about 900 meters from the railway station and the port of Syracuse. The newly renovated apartment is on the second floor of an attractive modern building with lift, and is composed of 4 large double bedrooms, elegantly furnished and with the possibility of 1 or 2 extra beds, all with en suite and equipped with all comforts to ensure maximum privacy and tranquility (LCD TV, hairdryer, individual climate control, thermo acoustic windows and free wi fi).

My wife and I stayed at the Antares B&B for two nights, along with my sister-in-law and her husband, who were visiting from Australia. The B&B was very clean and quiet and our host Gaetano was very hospitable. He gave us lots of good sightseeing ideas and even came to our rescue when we got a flat tire on our rental car. Thanks Gaetano, don't know what we would have done without you! Everything was just perfect.

The host was very kind! He allowed me to drop off my bags very early (as I was going sightseeing all day). He also printed out train schedules for me and followed up that I made out well with my trip. The place was beautiful, very clean and updated. Great, walkable location in the heart of the city.

Minimal Italian breakfast with the option to choose only the flavor of the croissant and the drink that I didn't like (burnt cappuccino). The host kind and helpful.

We stayed at this property on the night of July 15th for Claudio Baglioni's concert. For our needs, the location of Antares B&B was truly strategic as we reached the Greek Theatre in 10 minutes on foot. The room was clean and well furnished in a functional way. The manager welcomed us in a very friendly and kind manner and satisfied all our curiosities. We will definitely return.

The manager was very kind and helpful welcoming us upon our arrival and giving us all the necessary information. The room is very cozy and equipped with air conditioning. The location of the property is very convenient both to reach the theater and to take a walk in the center among the shops and to get to Ortigia walking among archaeological remains and breathtaking views. Breakfast was the extra treat, because when we woke up we found fresh croissants and much more. We will return! Highly recommended.

Clean structure and located a few minutes walk from Ortigia and the points of interest. The owner is very helpful in providing all the information about places to visit and where to eat. I really enjoyed my stay. Excellent breakfast.

I stayed at Antares B&B for two nights. Excellent location, cleanliness, and brightness of the rooms. Bathroom in the room with shower and assorted breakfast (sweet and savory) served discreetly and cordially by the owner, always available and capable of advising on places to visit and on the city's dining establishments. I followed his suggestions and had a great time: I enjoyed delicacies, even at a reasonable cost. I recommend it to all those who decide to visit the city regardless of the use of any means of transport. I would return without hesitation.

We have paid particular attention to the preparation and staging of the rooms are all different and feature original furniture. Everything is designed so as to encourage the rest , the position of the beds, the choice of furniture , mattresses , bed linen soft and enveloping . Rest well means to face the day in perfect shape , for us , it is important ! Breakfast is an important moment of the day, and you need to savor it slowly. For the pleasure of our guests, prepare rich and varied breakfasts which are served in the great hall , suitable to meet all your needs. The care and attention to the breakfast on offer in the quality of our b & b with an assortment that knows how to bring out the authentic Mediterranean flavors and typical Sicilian products . At guests' disposal there is also a cozy sitting room with satellite TV , library and the ability to connect to the internet in wi-fi. You can also make use of the fully equipped kitchen that can be used at any time for the preparation of a hot drink, and if there are small children will have the opportunity prepare a soup . the maid service is daily and linen is changed every 3 days and every check-out . ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE The rooms are available from 12:00 to 21:30 and must be vacated at 10:30 on the day of departure. Please, if you plan to arrive later than 21:30 , please notify us so that we can arrange to welcome you during the evening.The building is equipped with facilities for the disabled.
