The B&B Il Lago Dipinto is managed by Ivano, the painter Arturo Bonanomi’s son. The B&B is placed in the house, renovated in 2014, where the artist lived and painted for more than 50 years. The B&B is located in via Massimo D’Azeglio, a green and quiet small street just a few steps away from the lake and Lecco’s town centre. The Lecco’s railway station is just 15 minutes walk far from the B&B and at a short distance (just 30 meters) there is a stop of the urban line, for theese reasons the B&B is in a strategic location both for who like to travel autonomously (on foot, by bicycle or by car) and for those who prefer to use public transportation. The B&B has three rooms, each one with its private bathroom and an independent heating and air conditioning system: the Red Room, a modern and bright double bedroom; the Yellow Room, with two single beds, part of the original furniture of the house and the Blue Room, located in the renovated atelier of the painter Arturo Bonanomi. At the B&B Il Lago Dipinto the guest will be delighted in the artistic atmosphere that lives in the house and appreciate the sketches and the paints by the painter Arturo Bonanomi, he will taste the homemade and typical food that every morning Ivano prepares for breakfast. The house is a perfect starting point to discover Lecco, its lake, its mountains and its culture.

Quiet location, beautiful views, lovely hosts. Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights (our 6 year old chose the accommodation!) in July, in the blue room, which turned out to have a bathroom skylight and a small rooftop terrace, providing impressive views and perfect for weather watching. Location was good for us, we arrived by train and walked up. Very warm hosts, just good people really. We would love to stay again.

We received a very warm welcome. The hosts were helpful, kind, and pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay due to the tranquility and the possibility to visit Varenna or other places by train. Moreover, the center of Lecco was conveniently accessible by foot.

Thanks to Patrizia and Ivanov for a delightful stay in Lecco, for the yummy breakfasts and helpful advice on walks. The flat is situated in a quiet spot near some woodland, within easy walking distance from the lake, buses, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed walking alongside the lake, and taking a cable car to the cooler Piani d'Erna with its nature trail with amazing views of the mountains, lakes and pastureland.

That was a great choice! The property is located about a kilometer from the railway station and the lake. That was very important to me. Every room has a view of the lake, but that wasn't a problem. My room (blue) had a spectacular view of the mountains. There was a daily cleaning service. Breakfast was typical Italian style with fresh bread and pastries.

The Hosts make me feel like a family member. The house is near the mountains away from the noisy city. I had a splendid sleep, my room was very cozy and tidy. I was welcomed with a beautiful breakfast before my check out. If I could I would rate 100 out of 10! A home away from home.

Very pleasant welcome from Patrizia, who speaks English perfectly. She gave us good advice on sightseeing and restaurants. The room is spacious, air-conditioned, and very clean. Il Lago Dipinto is well located and is a 15-minute walk from the lake.

We stayed in a B&B room where everything was perfect: the comfort, the decor, the welcome, the absolute cleanliness.\n\nOur host was very attentive but discreet. Balanced and plentiful breakfast with a fresh homemade cake different every day. Perfect accommodation for a short trip. Very nice rooms, beautiful bathroom, bright and clean. The owners are totally kind, helpful, and super nice. We were even allowed to park our motorcycle in the small garden safely behind a gate. Definitely recommended.

Spectacular reception and treatment by the hosts. Patrizia and Ivano are pleasant, they care about our comfort and provide the necessary help throughout the stay. We stayed in the blue room, spacious and with a spectacular terrace overlooking the mountains. Very clean and tidy, they provide towels and a hairdryer, as well as a sample of gel. The homemade breakfast was amazing, abundant with different types of cereals, yogurts, bread and even homemade pastries that they prepared every day. Definitely a place to recommend for everything it offers. Besides being situated in a beautiful town with many activities to enjoy its surroundings. Thank you for everything Patrizia and Ivano! You helped us have magnificent days in the area.

I stayed at Il Lago Dipinto with my wife for a couple's vacation and I want to start by complimenting Patrizia and Ivano for the seriousness and love with which they manage this activity. The room we stayed in is spacious and tastefully furnished, with every comfort and equipped with all new furnishings and services. Top cleanliness, daily rearrangement, and change of linen every three days, nothing to complain about. The breakfast is very rich and well cared for, in addition to the fact that every day there is a homemade treat. Finally, not to be overlooked, the location is truly excellent, close to the center of Lecco, a beautiful city, and just a stone's throw from the highway access. In conclusion, we had a great time, the b&b is excellent and absolutely recommended, greetings to Patrizia and Ivano, with the hope of visiting you again in the future.

We stayed for only one night but we really liked the b&b a lot. The room was very comfortable, very clean and a great price. We arrived by train and could easily move around the city on foot. Good breakfast with homemade products as well. Very kind hosts and they also give great advice on visiting the city. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night in the red room and one night in the blue one as the initial and final stop of the "Viandante Trail." Both were fabulous. I stayed at this property for two nights and I had a great time. The B&B is located in a quiet area, but there are shops nearby and the lake is not far away. The owners were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful. If I happen to be in Lecco again, I would return.

Very spacious and welcoming room. Our child especially appreciated the colors of the rooms. Minimal but excellent breakfast. It is located a few meters from the lakeside and in 10/15 minutes on foot you reach the center of Lecco. Very kind and hospitable hosts! Highly recommended structure, even for families with young children.

A beautiful Bed and Breakfast, colorful, welcoming, and very clean. The managers are exceptional and helpful. A nice thing that not all Bed and Breakfasts have is the kettle with tea bags, much appreciated.

Very nice structure, youthful and really clean (said by a picky person about it). Very close to the lake and a short distance from the center of Lecco. Very kind and helpful owners. Abundant breakfast with homemade cakes and a wide selection. Highly recommended.

Structure located in the center but in a quiet area and the lake can be reached with a short walk. Very recent renovation and spacious and well-cleaned room. Bathroom ok. Good breakfast considering the type of structure: cakes, cookies, croissants, cereals, jams/nutella, fruit juices and yogurt. Not having a car, I didn't pay attention to parking possibilities, but it is definitely a structure that I feel like recommending.

Mr. Ivano welcomed us with kindness and care, making us feel immediately at ease and giving us useful information for our visit to the city. The spaces are new, bright, and very clean. The structure is not far from the station and the city center, and overall the quality-price ratio is excellent. We will definitely return to Mr. Ivano if we find ourselves in Lecco in the future.

Hello, we are 3 guys and, on the occasion of a job interview, we booked the Blue Room for 2 nights. The structure is truly excellent, very comfortable and quiet, the rooms pleasantly air-conditioned for those who go in summer, equipped with all the comforts, and is located in a very well-served area, rich in shops and quite close to the lakeside. The view from the little balcony of the room is truly breathtaking, and for the breakfast served we found everything fresh and abundant. A special thanks goes to Mr. Ivano, who gave us useful advice, both on how to move around the area and regarding excursions for the equipped trails along the mountain slopes. What else to say: the pleasant stay evidently helped us, because we passed the interviews with flying colors. Thanks to this splendid B&B.

I stayed one night with my husband and 8-year-old daughter. The structure is modern and clean, a 5-minute drive from the lake. The host Ivan was kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast with homemade cake, cookies, bread, and fruit. I highly recommend it, especially for the excellent value for money.

Structure renovated a few years ago, so the red room I used was perfect, both in electrical and sanitary installations, excellent windows. Very comfortable double bed as well as the pillows. A nice touch was the electric kettle with tea bags, herbal teas, and cappuccino. Excellent breakfast with coffee, cappuccinos, cakes, biscuits, bread, jam, yogurt, and juice, accompanied by the owner's chats. Thanks to Arturo, the owner, for letting us park the motorcycle in the garden under our room. I recommend it to everyone.

The structure has been recently renovated, with great taste. The neighborhood is a few minutes from the center, but very quiet. Free air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Excellent cleanliness. Abundant and varied Italian breakfast, with fresh fruit, fresh bread of various kinds, good coffee. The owner is kind and helpful. Complete satisfaction, and an experience to be repeated.

The B&B Il Lago Dipinto is located in a quiet and residential area just 10 minutes on foot from the lake and the Lecco’s town centre. The area is well served by the public transportation line (the nearest stop is just 30 meters far from the house) and the Lecco’s railway station is easily reachable in 15 minutes walk. The car travellers can find a free parking near the B&B. The bike and motorbike lovers are allowed to park their vehicles inside the B&B garden.
