Holiday home La Palma has two independent villa apartments.

We have a two-room apartment consisting of a bright kitchen / living room with sofa bed 2 squares, bathroom with shower and double bedroom, can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people.

The second apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a double sofa bed, two bedrooms with private bathroom, can accommodate up to 8/10 people with extra beds on request.

All rooms are equipped with TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, wifi, linen and towels.

Outside you can enjoy a beautiful terrace surrounded by greenery and furnished with garden furniture.

La Palma is located in a beautiful village on the slopes of Etna, in a strategic position to reach the most beautiful tourist locations that our eastern Sicily offers.

20 minutes from the airport / station, a few miles from both the sea and the mountain, 20 minutes from Catania
Near the highways and ring roads to reach easily from Taormina to Syracuse, Enna, Caltagirone
40 minutes from Mount Etna.

3 Km from the shopping center I Portali and Le Zagare.

10 minutes from the Tupparello Palasport of Acireale
15 minutes from the Gecas medical center in Gravina di Catania.

Laura is so nice with her beautiful smile and her generous soul. The apartment has a balcony with a view on a garden. The ceiling is high which gives a beautiful spaciousness. The building is quiet and safe.

A cozy little place on the outskirts of Catania. The lovely host went an extra mile to wait for my late arrival and show me into a charming room. I'd say it was almost a royal-like welcome, especially after seeing the high ceiling, the decorations, the door to a small balcony from which you can admire majestic Etna while sipping your morning coffee. A coffee machine in the room at one's disposal; fresh fruits and soft drinks waiting in the fridge. The secure car park at the back. Just a few minutes walk from a pizzeria with friendly staff that was open late and gave me a chance to go to sleep well fed after a long day on the road. I will definitely come back when I have an opportunity for another trip to this part of Sicily!

Laura is the best host one can ask for; extremely nice, caring and warm. She was ever willing to help us with our needs and took us around to buy groceries etc and even sent us to the airport when we couldn't get a cab. She is really the best. We already miss her. As for the house, it is really well equipped and a perfect B&B for travelers. Very spacious with beautiful and cozy interior. Thank you, Laura, for everything. We truly enjoyed our stay. Full rating for me.

I recently stayed at the B&B “La Palma” and I can only praise the experience. The structure is welcoming and well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed at this place for two nights and felt like we were on a test of courage. Cleanliness is really an unknown thing here. The apartment, managed by Mrs. Laura, is very helpful but kept in truly unacceptable conditions. The shower was full of mold and encrustations. Additionally, there are many objects and knick-knacks in the apartment full of dust. There was a bad smell in all the rooms and the refrigerator was unusable due to dirt. I'm sorry to say, but I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

The structure is a delightful Liberty building and the apartment is complete with everything, including efficient air conditioning and reserved parking space. Laura is a welcoming and very practical person. Great for those who want their autonomy.

I stayed for four nights at Casa Vacanza La Palma owned by Laura, and I must say that I met a truly sweet, helpful, and caring person who made me feel at home. I had problems upon arrival in Catania, during my stay, and also upon departure; Laura proved understanding and promptly ready to solve any kind of issue, making me feel like part of the family. Thank you for this tremendous availability. I recommend the property because it is very convenient for any destination, whether it's the sea, hills, or downtown Catania. Everything truly excellent, with a special praise to the friendliness and availability of the owner and another to the cleanliness of the premises. The furnishings are modern and comfortable, but if you look up there is a lovely frescoed ceiling. I will definitely come back, there is still so much to see around!

Having to stay for a week for work in the area, I deliberately chose a location outside the city. And it was a great choice! Laura's love for her Casa Vacanza La Palma shines through in every detail. Area Centro

Viagrande is a beautiful mountain village of ancient traditions the slopes of Etna, also known for its vineyards and its gastronomy, rich in noble villas in Baroque style. On January 15, the festival of San Mauro is celebrated with wide participation of the population not only by viagrandesi, but also by the inhabitants of the neighboring countries and many "tourists" who come from outside the province and also from other regions.
From a gastronomic point of view, in particular, the country is home to one of the most important historic cafes in the province: the Great Coffee Urn founded in 1885 to taste two Sicilian specialties such as calzone and schiumone. Viagrande area is also home to the Benanti winemakers, producing among others DOC Etna Rosso and Etna Bianco in Sicily only company winemaking vine native purity "Minnella".
Viagrande has in its territory the Monte Serra, an ancient volcanic cone, the lowest above the sea, which is also known for its natural park of the same name. Inside, you can visit the Butterfly House and ski all year round, thanks to the presence of a complete artificial track of a small ski and lighting, one hundred meters long.
