B&B Solesun is an ideal location to spend ones holiday unwilling in a silent and relaxing atmosphere, which offers a unique experience in harmony with the nature and the typical Sicilian flavors.

B&B Solesan offers a friendly accomodation in a bedroom with independent entrance, equipped with private bethroom, sure to satisfy every needs may occur. Breakfast included. Dinner is available if requested.

We are at the center of the marvelous cost-line between the tawns of Trapani and Marsala, right the natural preserve of salt-works, very near to the beautiful beach of Marausa in front if the well-knows Egadi's Islands where you can look at unforgattable sunsets.

All the most imporant sightseeings of the area are very easy to reach from "Solesun":
-Trapani (10 minutes), with its beautiful harbour and old town.

from Trapani you take the ferries to Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, the beautiful Egadis' islands. Ferries from here link even Pantelleria.

- Erice (20 minutes) a beautiful middle age village on the top of a mountain.

- Mothia - the Phoenicians island and the famous salt pans " Ettore - Infersa " (5 minutes)
- Marsala (10 minutes) the town of the wine
- Segesta and Selinunte temples area (30 - 40 min.)
- San Vito Lo Capo (45 minutes) with its gold beaches
- The "Salines Park" (5 min.). Along SP 21 Trapani-Marsala
Nearby you can enjoy horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, and many hiking and watching plays

How to get the place:
It's abuot 3 km. from the Trapani-Birgi (Vincenzo Florio) airport, very near to the A29 motorway. Caming from Birgi airport, take the SP21 (direction Trapani), after about 3 km turn right in strada Locogrande (you will see the cantina Ballotta). Go further on for about 300mt. the place is at strada Locogrande n. 69. From Palermo, take the exit for Marausa then turn left and follow the road signs to Locogrande (yuo will see the "Cantina Ballotta". Go further on for abuot 300m, the place is at "Strada Locogrande", n. 69

B&B Solesun was the beginning and the end of our lovely trip in Sicily (April 2013). We stayed there for 5 days. The rooms, and in particular the bathroom was very nice and clean. B&B Solesun is a perfect place for visiting the west coast of Sicily: from the airport of Birgi (Trapani) it only takes a few minutes to reach the place; from there we visited Le Saline, Erice, San Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Marsala, and Mazara del Vallo. Nearby there is a good restaurant. But what's more, the owners, Salvatore and his wife are very nice and helpful. We cherish the evenings we chatted together over a fine glass of home made limoncello.

Mr. Salvatore was kind, helpful, and welcoming, as well as his entire family. The location of the B&B is quite convenient and strategic, especially if you are traveling by car: it is halfway between Trapani and Marsala, so you can easily move in both directions. It is in a quiet location (Locogrande), silent, away from traffic and the (a bit) chaotic (as it is normal in August) but beautiful Trapani. The only flaw I found, and it is a suggestion to Mr. Salvatore: the absence of air conditioning. Not irrelevant in a land like the splendid Sicily, where you can die from the heat in the summer months.

The cordiality and friendliness of Mr. Salvatore will make us remember his hospitality and that of his land. \nEven without breakfast, we had a great time. \nThe pleasantness of the place, the silence (interrupted only by the pleasant bray of a donkey) and the cleanliness thrilled us, and if we return to Sicily, we will definitely come back.

The ideal place to feel pampered, immersed in a stunning garden and surrounded by a romantic atmosphere, in the real Sicily. The owners are exquisite people, ready to meet your every need, the breakfast with homemade cakes and fruit picked from their garden, the crepes made on the spot to lick your mustache and on request an excellent typical dinner. Not to mention the excellent value for money. The location close to the airport and the major attractions makes this place an ideal location. We will gladly return next year.

We were welcomed with open arms by the manager of the B&B Solesun. Very familiar and pleasant atmosphere. The B&B provides all the comforts, is very clean and tidy. Recommended for spending a few days in the area of Trapani - Marsala. Thanks to Salvatore and his family for the hospitality.

We stayed at the B&B Solesun for a week in July. Its location is very convenient being close to both Trapani Airport (about 5 minutes) and the various tourist destinations in the area. Our room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed, but it was above all the kindness and hospitality of the owners that made the stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking to have a relaxing holiday.

Although we stayed with my wife for only one day, we had the opportunity to appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of the welcome and the extreme cleanliness and decor of the beautiful room assigned to us. I do not want to forget the excellent dinner consumed in the company of the owners. Everything is ok.

I am a person who loves the quiet places and beautiful views. I like to stay in contact with the true things like the nature, the animals, and people who remain always the more interesting monument to discover because only and unrepeatable and in any case various. I define myself a dreamer and a good observer, much stubborn and onlooker. I love the good kitchen and the good wine. I am a thinker and I often travel with my mind in order to donate happy thoughts so to clear up my spirit and my mind sometime taken from too many thoughts. I love make conversation and to make long walks, to go to the sea, to ride bicycle and to work in the fields where drainage the accumulated tension and truble in office. I hope it is enough but if you want to know same more you need to come to spend your holiday in my property. Ciaoooooo....... Bye Bye............

We are very close to the city of Trapani (10 km.). The area is very quiet and is ideal for all those people who want to spend a relaxing holiday.
In Trapani, in the historic center, you can make nice walks and admire some of the palaces of the old nobility of Trapani, as well as some churches of enormous value as the church of the "Mysteries" and the church of the Jesuits for lovers of Sicilian Baroque. But the peculiarity of the center is that it makes one with the harbor on one side and the beach on the other hand, everything is walkable, you can sail to the Egadi islands, take a look at the best shops, go to take a bath or sit comfortably in one of the many bars, restaurants, clubs, to enjoy an aperitif, eat, drink. Remember that you are in a place that produces great wines and a great olive oil, a good ice cream, good pizza, then we have the typical dishes, such as: Pesto Trapanese, couscous with fish, the Genoese and the almond sweet of Erice etc....
So around you have everything you need to bring, when you return home, all the smells and flavors of the beautiful Sicily.
