Highly recommend staying here: Paulo made us very welcome, gave us lots of information about the local area and was happy to help us and answer questions throughout our stay.\n\nThe apartment was clean and spacious, the memory foam beds and pillows were very comfortable, and it was a treat relaxing in the hot tub and the garden at the end of a day. The kitchenette was perfect for cooking simple meals but there were also plenty of local restaurants and great gelaterias!\nWe came to the area to do some walking in the Gran Sasso National Park and it is a wild and beautiful place. Great for mountain bikers, rock climbers and caving too. Buses from L’Aquila to the Funivia at Fonte Cerreto cost 1.25 euro return, takes about 50 minutes and run approximately every 2 hours. The bus terminus was only a 10 minute walk from Palazzo Rustici. L’Aquila is an interesting place to stay and is undergoing significant restoration after the earthquake 10 years ago. Some amazing buildings are emerging as a result.

It was a beautiful experience. As soon as you enter Palazzo Rustici, you are captivated by the lovely courtyard. We stayed in the suite, very spacious and well furnished. Everything is very well-maintained. Super comfortable bed. The bathroom has an impressive small room with a large bathtub. Top breakfast, both sweet and savory. The products offered are the result of a search for typical local products, all very good. The 'pan ducale' and the sweets with 'mosto cotto' are unforgettable. Many compliments to Mr. Paolo, the owner of the property, a person attentive to details and guest well-being. I highly recommend this property located in the city center, just steps from the Cathedral Square. Anna Maria Matteucci

Beautiful little palace recovered with passion from the earthquake's destructions. Everything very well-kept. Owner, manager just as a hobby, very kind, accompanied me to dinner and to see the city's efforts to rise again. More than a stay, an experience. It's a pity that this country gives its best only in misfortune.

The grades I have given say it all. I can add: go to Palazzo Rustici B&B! Collemaggio has been reopened, the 99 Cannelle and San Bernardino as well. There is still work to be done in the center, but the improved parts deserve a walk. Not to mention the Good Friday procession, a spectacle of great suggestion. And then there's the Aquilano, all to discover. Thanks to the owners, very exquisite hosts. See you soon, Simona Stella.
