The establishment is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Places are cleaned daily. The location of the B&B is perfect in the city center of Rieti. The owner of the B&B, the ladies in charge of the B&B, and the cleaning lady did their best, I think, to provide us with the best service over the week, even though there was a small language barrier. The owner is helpful, available, and friendly. Thanks for the flowers. Unfortunately, the reservation was for 2 rooms, one without any bed and the second with 2 single beds. What we got did not match this. We had to wait until the next day to get two separate beds, after 15 hours of travel, that's not something you expect for 60€ per night. One room with a TV and fridge but no kitchen, and the other with a 'kitchenette'. The fact that the furniture is mismatched, like the dishes, plus the trace of furniture on the walls that gives an average look to the room, the shower not so new, does not match the website photos and the price. However, the bedding (very good mattress) and toiletries were of very good quality! We had 2 days with cold showers, due to possible running out of warm water (other customers already finished with their shower time) and the turning off of the general boilers. This meant that the heaters were cold during the night, the only moment you are really in your room. The strange thing is that in our room the last 3 days we had normal heating but my father (in the second room) had none even with the thermostat set to 5. The heater remained cold, as if his part of the building was turned off. That would have been 'acceptable' as we know that energy bills are currently crazy, but not for 60€ per night. As per the description 'Abundant breakfast'. The place has an agreement with the nearby bar for breakfast: one hot drink (coffee/cappuccino) + one croissant. (3 coffees, 3 croissants, 15€/day too expensive). That's more like an afternoon snack than a proper/normal breakfast. Definitely not what we were expecting at all. This option is also not for people with reduced mobility. A more realistic description of the B&B would be better. Following the reply of the structure, I will add the message of the owner for the booking, the bed request was the main point of the reservation and not an unknown detail, but they did not follow up on the reservation: Booked Double Room 'B&B and Holiday Home La Camelia Hello So for your father, we can make a single use double and for you and grandma a double with two separate beds Can that be okay? thanks for your review.
First, the rooms were the same that you booked. you hadn't booked a room with two single beds, otherwise we would have given it to you right away, because it was available. In fact, the next day we satisfied your request to change rooms. As for the heating, the radiators were on all day, they turned off only in the evening.
As for the breakfast, in Italy we generally have breakfast with cappuccino/coffee and croissant, this is the meaning of "Italian breakfast". Furthermore, we are sorry you weren't able to take advantage of it but we gave you back the difference paid, without problems.
