We stayed in one of the new owner's apartments on the occasion of the Modena Park event, a place that has been recently renovated but still habitable, with a functional kitchen and clean bathroom. The owner was kind enough to give us some tips on where to eat and which road to take. Highly recommended.

Structure in a dated building and also the interior, although well furnished and painted, shows its age a bit. The environments are still well cleaned and the rooms welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, you can prepare meals even for lunch. Unfortunately, breakfast is almost non-existent, there is the necessary to make coffee with the moka or tea or herbal tea, some packaged biscuits and brioches and some jars of jam, all a bit basic. However, it is a good compromise to have low-price rooms a few hundred meters from the center of Modena. Recommended for those looking for a place without too many demands, clean and cheap. I think of going back there if I have to stay in Modena again.

I was in Modena for the Philosophy Festival. The property is not close to the center but thanks to the manager's directions we found free parking and 7, 8 minutes from Piazza Grande. The room is as described, spacious, clean and welcoming. The value for money is more than satisfying. We will come back.

I arrived at the B&B on Sunday in the late afternoon with my husband and son. The next day my husband would be admitted to Hesperia Hospital for surgery. It wasn't a holiday atmosphere. We met the lady who welcomed us kindly and showed us our room. The first 2 days passed and the managers were friendly, accompanying us to the hospital and picking us up at the agreed time.\n\nOn Tuesday evening I met Gabriele and I was truly impressed by the sensitivity, humanity, and extreme availability shown to me; Gabriele would have taken me back to the hospital at a different time than previously planned, and that really struck me, as well as his great maturity, willingness to act and improve, rare in a young man of just 30 years old.\n\nThe next day I didn't see him again, his mother took me back, and, I must say, when we said goodbye, tears welled up in my eyes; imagine that, even though I had booked the third night as well, leaving a day earlier, they refunded me the money. It's hard to experience such a situation in real life.\nI would return 1,000 and 1,000 times more, perhaps to visit the city, which unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy at all.\n\nFor me, the rating is the highest; certain attentions are priceless.

Together with my son, we experienced a politeness and a delicacy that are rarely found in B&B managers. Both the excellent Gabriele and the wonderful Daniela gave 101% in availability, welcome, familiarity, attention, and care for details. A yes to every request addressed to them. My wife had to be hospitalized at Hesperia Hospital for an ankle surgery. I would assist her within the expected times of the hospital. I had contacted Mr. Gabriele about 20 days before and agreed on the room. I expected a stay of maximum 5 days, but due to an unforeseen event, I had to stay a few more days. I stayed for a couple of nights at the B&B "Amici", owned by the same people (they had asked me in advance if I was okay with the change of B&B and I had agreed). Very nice room with a spacious and functional bathroom, excellent cleanliness. There is also a convenient kitchen available to guests, equipped with everything that may be necessary. Quiet place, not too far from the city center (reachable by foot in 10-15 minutes). The managers were very kind, they came to pick me up at the station and in the morning they drove me to the places I needed to go. Excellent value for money. I recommend it.

The B&B Amici is a small and welcoming refuge just a couple of steps from the city center. The care with which the owners devoutly try to make any guest feel at home is only second to the generosity of the Emilian people. It is particularly ideal for those who need to move quickly, such as students and workers. The proximity to the hospital hub also offers a good starting point for those in the city for health reasons. The rooms are presented in a simple and functional way, reflecting the excellent quality/price ratio. The shared kitchen certainly represents an added value that will allow guests to enjoy meals calmly, away from the food consumed hastily in some fast food or bakery around the city. Gabriele, one of the owners and the couple's son, is a capable person, full of useful advice and with a special consideration for all the young students and workers approaching the Modenese reality for the first time.
