The Farmhouse "All'antica Mattonata" is a comfortable country house, framed by the beautiful view of Assisi and immersed in the green fields, that border an ancient pilgrims trail.

Public bus stop is 50 meter far and free bikes are also available. An old granary has been wisely converted into 2 cozy and welcoming apartments and rooms:
The studio consists of: a kitchenette, a living room with sofa-bed on the first level and a double bedroom on the second level. Possibility of adding extra beds or cots.

The other apartment has one double bedroom, bathroom, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette.

On the outside court are available a free private parking, a playground for children, a vegetable garden with greens and fruits of the season.

At the guests' disposal is also a sheltered gazebo with fireplace, wood over and barbecue.

The position of the Farmhouse "All'antica Mattonata" makes the trip to the main locations in Assisi very simple: S. Francesco, Porziuncola, S. Damiano are within walking distance.

A perfect family-run bed and breakfast in a fantastic location, just below the city of Assisi, with a spectacular view of the Basilica of San Francesco and the entire city. We booked a three-room apartment located in a basement, well furnished with all the necessary things for the stay, also to be appreciated is the always fresh and pleasant temperature despite the external heat of the summer months. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub for some relaxing moments and the courtesy and kindness of the owner always ready to give advice. Not to be overlooked is the convenience of leaving the car parked in the courtyard of the property and walking up to the historic center in about 15 minutes, or by bus whose stop is right next to the exit. The breakfast is good with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended and definitely to return.

We stayed at All'Antica Mattonata last week. We are satisfied in every way. Excellent location that allowed us to move easily by car (but you can take a shuttle to Assisi just a few steps away from the B&B) both towards Assisi and towards the other cities visited, enjoying the tranquility of the countryside. The manager was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful in every way. Impeccable service and cleanliness. The 9 rating for breakfast is not because it is poor or anything, on the contrary, it is complete and good. It's just that for personal taste, I would enrich it with more homemade cakes. The ones we tasted every morning were truly commendable and delicious. Otherwise, top-notch and our stay in Assisi was pleasant also thanks to the friendliness and hospitality we enjoyed. Furthermore, last but not least, the view of Assisi from the property is SPECTACULAR! We were also able to relax in the garden thanks to a wonderful whirlpool tub! Excellent value for money. Thank you for everything, we will see you on our next trip to Umbria!

Exceptional location, very convenient to reach places of interest. Very friendly and welcoming owners. The rooms, very clean, are very well maintained and tastefully furnished, as well as the entire structure. Abundant and varied breakfast, even with homemade desserts. Fantastic location, at the foot of Assisi, a stone's throw from the basilica of San Francesco, ideal for any purpose. Very high cordiality from the owner Davide and the staff. Perfect location of the B&B, halfway between Assisi and Santa Maria degli Angeli, reachable on foot or by public transport from the nearby stop. The courtesy of the owners and their discretion make you feel comfortable from the first moment. The breakfasts are fresh, abundant and delicious, especially the sweets prepared daily by the lady. Everything is perfect, clean and tidy, a fantastic family. Highly recommended.
