A quiet Bed and Breakfast with a friendly and helpful owner. Quiet and located in a residential area of Castel San Pietro, surrounded by other villas. Good breakfast.

I can only speak well of this B&B, especially of the manager Michele, who not only accompanied us and picked us up several times at the urban service stop, but also literally left the kitchen at our disposal, telling us: make yourselves at home. He offered us wine, cheese, and sausage from his homeland. I stayed at this B&B due to my wife's hospitalization, and he was always kind and available in giving me tips on how to get around and eat in Bologna. I recommend him for all this.

Why choose this Bed and Breakfast? Simply because the courtesy, friendliness, and cordiality of the manager combined with the excellent breakfast and room cleanliness represent the key features of an ideal stay away from home. We stayed one night at this B&B with a group of friends. Very quiet place, away from traffic but with plenty of parking. Very cute, clean, and independent apartments, abundant and well-served breakfast. The owners Michele and Rosa are very friendly, kind, and very helpful. Definitely worth considering for the next trip to Bologna.

Fantastic place, quiet but at the same time close to Imola if, for example, you want to reach the racetrack. Educated, kind, and very helpful people. They also recommended a hotel to me since there was no more room to sleep in their rooms.

I stayed in this B&B a few days ago with a friend, and we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very quiet place, close to the center and in an area rich in parking spaces. I want to highlight the kindness of the owners, especially Michele, who treated us like two daughters. We had the opportunity to talk about everything even while having a good glass of house wine kindly offered, thus completing the maximum atmosphere of relaxation. There is maximum freedom to decide the breakfast and return times, and the quality-price ratio is excellent; impeccable service for such a moderate price. Certainly, a place to consider when going to Bologna, Imola, and nearby places.

I stayed three days in Castel San Pietro for a course and took advantage of the hospitality of this beautiful B&B. Very nice and clean apartments, large rooms, new bathrooms, with everything you need for a perfect stay (including wireless internet) and plenty of breakfast. Quiet location immersed in nature. The owners are really kind and helpful. Excellent value for money, moreover it is close to the conference center. Definitely worth trying or returning for a stay in Castel San Pietro.

Il Girasole is a B&B located in a very quiet and pleasant place. It is surrounded by greenery, bright all day and silent. In the morning, one is pampered by a wonderful abundant breakfast. With a pleasant 10-minute walk, one reaches the town center. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable. The managers are very friendly, very helpful, and welcoming. In short, they are lovely people. It is a place I will definitely return to on the next occasion. I recommend it to everyone.

We were left, my partner and I, as well as our children, definitely enthusiastic, not only about the place and the structure, but also about the exciting courtesy, friendliness, and generosity of Rosa and Michele, the managers of the B&B. We spent our stay in an absolutely family-like manner and surrounded by every attention, including that excellent salami and wine of their own production kindly offered by the manager. A place definitely to recommend, beyond the excellent price and the excellent so-called hotel accommodation. Surely a reference point for us, should we return to those areas, and definitely to recommend with our eyes closed.

The structure is as you see it in the photos, indeed even better. It is welcoming, clean, and has all the comforts. I had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful and quiet place this weekend with my boyfriend and we had a great time. Firstly, because of the kindness and the family atmosphere that exists within the structure. The kindness of Rosa and Michele, in my opinion, is difficult to find these days. They took care of us as if we were their children. Not to mention the quality-price ratio. Unbeatable prices for such service. Starting from the comfort, then continuing with the breakfast kindly bought fresh every morning according to one’s needs. We stayed for three nights in August with two small children (four and two and a half years old) and we felt very comfortable. The managers always tried to make us feel at ease, even allowing us to use both bathrooms when the other rooms were not occupied. The structure is welcoming and the room we slept in is comfortable; in addition to the double bed, there was also comfortably a single bed and a camping cot. Recommended.

Note this address! At Girasole, you will feel great. The house is located in a nice residential neighborhood where greenery and tranquility reign, although it is just a few hundred meters from the center of the town and less than 20 km from Bologna. The B&B is on the first floor of a recently renovated villa. The owners, Rosa and Michele, live on the ground floor. They are courteous and helpful, ready to meet your needs and give you useful advice, for example where to eat at a low price. The rooms are well-furnished in a functional and cheerful way. If it is hot, there are air conditioners. The breakfast, served in the living room/kitchen, is plentiful, and the fridge is stocked with water, fresh fruit, or yogurt. Finally, Michele will not fail to let you taste the excellent wine that he produces himself. We only stayed one night, but we will take care to keep this address!
