Il Cortile

We felt very comfortable during our weekend stay at Il Cortile. The landlady is very attentive, speaks almost perfect German, is always helpful and extremely friendly. Always ready to help. We lacked nothing, even towels, soap, and a hairdryer were provided! In the morning, we were treated with fresh croissants, muffins, and bread. We then enjoyed breakfast in the room in a relaxed manner. The center of Gallarate is within easy walking distance. The place offers numerous restaurants and a large supermarket for self-catering. Purchases can be stored in the large fridge with freezer. There is also a microwave, as well as a Dolce Gusto coffee machine with capsules and a kettle. The room was cleaned daily, but was also in perfect condition upon arrival! Il Cortile offers the perfect starting point for various excursions, for example to Milan or Lake Maggiore. The airport is nearby, allowing for a stress-free arrival and departure. If we should return to Gallarate, we will definitely stay there again.

The B&B is quiet, very spacious and very well-kept. The owner is very friendly, attentive and accommodating, always making sure that the guests feel comfortable. The guest rooms are lovingly decorated, cleaned every day. For breakfast, which you prepare yourself, everything is abundantly provided, from the still warm croissants to milk, yogurt, fruits and plenty of coffee (which you prepare yourself in the provided coffee machine) and tea, juice and water. It is pleasant to have a small refrigerator, so you can also prepare a snack in the room and don't always have to go out to eat.

A very cozy and lovingly decorated B&B. The owner welcomed us very warmly and was always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and very clean. For breakfast, there were always warm brioches and bread that the owner placed outside the door in the morning. The B&B is very well located, a 5-minute walk takes you to the old part of Gallarate where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The train station is conveniently reachable on foot in 10 minutes. A big thank you, we really enjoyed it!

A very cozy and inviting bed and breakfast in a large house with beautiful magnolia trees in the courtyard. The room is very quiet, comfortably furnished, and very clean. The owner Silvia speaks German very well and is very accommodating. The breakfast is abundant and includes yogurt, brioche, good coffee, and bread. The bed and breakfast is located on the edge of the city center of Gallarate, and in 10 minutes one can reach the train station. Therefore, the bed and breakfast is well suited as a starting point for trips to Milan or Lake Maggiore.

I stayed at the bed and breakfast Il Cortile for a few months for work reasons. The summary of my review is: if you need to stay in Gallarate, stay here. The apartment is delightful and well-kept, excellent cleanliness, and the owner is really kind and at your disposal for any problem. The top score is well deserved!

I stayed at the B&B Il Cortile for about a month and a half and it was like being at home. Mrs. Silvia welcomed me with great hospitality and was always attentive and available to ensure the best possible stay. The location of the property is excellent and the apartment very spacious and comfortable. I will definitely come back!

I stayed for 2 nights at Il Cortile with my brother. Upon our arrival, we were greeted very well by the manager, Mrs. Federica, who made us feel at home. The rooms are very clean and carefully furnished, room cleaning is done every day, and breakfast is served in the room without lacking anything: fresh milk, yogurt, toast, various types of cookies, fruit juices, jams, brioches, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate that you can prepare yourself thanks to the coffee machine and capsules of various flavors of your choice. We felt very good in this structure and we will definitely come back because here we find the true Made in Italy in the services and in the treatment of the customers. Regards. Armand.

I stayed in this charming building for work reasons. I was welcomed with courtesy and availability. I had at my disposal a beautiful and comfortable mini apartment that overlooked the small courtyard full of magnolias and forsythias. What can I say, I cannot wait to return with my family to combine business with pleasure. It is a pity that regulations do not allow managers to prepare fresh pastries for breakfast because I am sure that Mrs. Federica would have expressed, even with those, the sweetness and courtesy of her demeanor.

I frequently find myself stopping at this B&B, and I must say that in the Gallarate area it is the best place I have stayed, both in terms of location and hospitality and services. I can only recommend it to anyone who has any doubts about their choice.

So, recommended by a friend, I easily contacted the owner of "Il Cortile", Mrs. Silvia. From the very beginning, she proved to be very kind and helpful. For instance, she even gave me advice on how to reach the best shops and the most picturesque places in the area. The room was very spacious, equipped with everything necessary, and I slept as comfortably as possible. Upon waking up, I always found an impeccable breakfast and the smile of the owner, everything that marks a great start to the day. Recommended for those who want to feel at home even away.

The central location is excellent, just a few steps from the center and services. The kindness and availability of the owner are the real added value of the structure.

We spent 3 days (2 nights) at Il Cortile. We chose Gallarate because we were returning from a 2-week trip to Chernivtsi via Milan back home. In previous years we always stayed in Milan. The new strategy proved to be valid from an economic point of view. It takes 10-15 minutes by car to Malpensa Airport, but there is also a shuttle from the train station to the Malpensa departure area.
