Le Vele is a small guest house located in the historic and commercial center of the city of La Spezia, precisely in Piazza Cavour better known as Market Square, where every morning, except for public holidays, takes place the traditional fish market, dairy products, fruit, vegetables, flowers etc..

The apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, one with an extra bed, furnished simply but with every comfort: Each room is equipped with bathroom, TV, air conditioning, fridge and small terrace leading onto Via Gramsci.

The linen, with attached cleaning every 2 days or at the request of the host, and is included in the price.

In about ten minutes walk you can reach both the departure point for ferries to the 5 Terre, Portovenere, Palmaria Island, Lerici, Portofino.. both the railway station. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and I place in the market, ATMs, pharmacies are "Underneath" and for any problem, the owner is at your disposal inhabiting the same building.

Very satisfied. You can easily reach the train station or the dock for the boats to the Cinque Terre on foot. Close to restaurants.

Independent room in a slightly old but well-preserved building. Gioacomo was very kind during check-in in suggesting places to visit and where to eat. The apartment is located in a convenient area to access everything needed but at the same time very quiet, allowing for optimal rest.

Quite spacious room in a central location relative to the train station (10 minutes walk) and various bus stops. They also provide a mini fridge, a kettle, and a hairdryer for free use. Young owner very kind and helpful also regarding advice on how to move around the city and beyond. Fully satisfied, considering the price.

All good, I only recommend to the lady for the bathroom of the blue room, to fix the shower hose so that it can be inserted into the shower bar, (the support to insert it is missing) as it is uncomfortable to use since one hand is needed to hold it and the other to soap up.

The guesthouse is located halfway between the station and the port, both reachable in about 10 minutes. The two rooms are comfortable and clean, one with a bathroom, the other with an external bathroom. The landlady was always available and kind. We had a great time.
