Locanda del Viandante is a place of the soul where you can give yourself a respite, set in the harmony of the landscape, the same one found in the frescoes of Piero della Francesca. It stays in your heart not only for the beauty and attention to detail, but for a savory kindness, all Tuscan. A true locus amenus. Unmissable.

We spent a beautiful weekend with our three-year-old daughter and our little dog. We had a really good time and hope to have another opportunity to come back! Our apartment was delightful, new, cozy.

We stayed at Locanda del Viandante for two days and we had a really great time. The facility is brand new, the rooms are large, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The kitchen is spacious with everything necessary for breakfast, dinners, etc.; we shared it with another couple with children and we had a great time. The atmosphere of peace and tranquility is unique. The pool is very special, with a truly beautiful view over the countryside. Alessia was very kind. We will definitely come back.

HOW TO GET HERE FROM ANGHIARI

From Anghiari take the S. P 45 road for Ponte alla Piera which is 8 kilometres away. From here take the S. P 57 road for Caprese Michelangelo and after about half a kilometre you will find an old stone farmhouse on the right. You’re here!

Alternatively from Anghiari take the S. P 47 for Caprese Michelangelo until you arrive at the village of “Manzi”. Turn left here on the S. P 57 for Ponte alla Piera and you will reach the inn after three kilometres.

For those arriving from the Casentino area get on the S. P 47 for Ponte alla Piera in Subbiano. +
